A Bit About Me

Kelvin Thomas - Leadership Bio

I believe leadership is my calling.

My name is Kelvin Thomas, and for more than three decades I have pursued my purpose with passion, continually developing and refining my leadership abilities. My mission is to help others discover their gifts, unlock their potential, and walk confidently in their greater purpose in life.

Throughout my journey, I have served under both exceptional and ineffective leaders. Each experience became an opportunity to learn, grow, and shape my own leadership approach. From coaching a championship Little League baseball team, to leading a thriving Men’s Ministry, to working as a shop-floor operator in a manufacturing plant, these diverse experiences helped develop the foundational leadership skills that eventually propelled me to executive leadership roles, serving as Director and Vice President in two divisions of a major corporation.

Prior to retiring December 31, 2025, I served as Vice President of Culture and Engagement for one of the largest building materials companies in the world. I am also a 2023 President’s Award recipient, a member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team, and serve on the Board of Trustees for Texas College.

Currently, I am the Managing Owner of Kings Honor a Leadership Development and Landscaping business, with my son, Koric Thomas.

Also, I am the Leading Minister, for a nonprofit organization, Kingsmen 21, center on mentoring/ministering to men and boys in our area.

Beyond the corporate world, I am the President of Kelvin Thomas Ministries, where I focus on coaching and mentoring young adult men. I am also the author of four faith-based books: Arise, Stone Throwers I, Stone Throwers II, and my most recent work, Power Crumbs. Each book is rooted in Scripture and designed to inspire encouragement, spiritual growth, and personal empowerment.

Family and faith keep me grounded. My wife serves as the editor and creative designer for my books, and my son is actively involved in the work and vision of the ministry. I am the proud father of three children and grandfather of seven.

My commitment to serving others was deeply influenced by my mother, who faithfully supported people in our local community and church while I was growing up in Alabama. Her example instilled in me the belief that leadership is ultimately about service. Through my writing, teaching, and ministry, I strive to continue that legacy.

I truly believe I am blessed to be a blessing.
